Basecamp North Lakes: A Unique Challenge for Derwent Digital & Wireless

Basecamp North Lakes has been one of the most unique and rewarding projects we’ve taken on at Derwent Digital & Wireless. The brief was clear: modernise the site to support a thriving shop and café — all while keeping the existing systems running smoothly. The biggest challenge? Decommissioning key parts of the building without interrupting day-to-day operations.

Our installation has been comprehensive, covering every layer of digital infrastructure from the ground up. We’ve delivered full-fibre FTTP, secure customer Wi-Fi, a robust site network and business Wi-Fi, along with state-of-the-art CCTV, VoIP phones, and a complete suite of digital services tailored to the site’s needs.

And the project doesn’t stop here. Basecamp North Lakes is still evolving, with plenty of exciting developments still to come — and we’re proud to be a part of its digital transformation.
