Lingholm Squirrel Webcam

This might not have been the biggest project we’ve ever worked on, but it’s certainly been one of the most enjoyable.
The brief: “Can we have a webcam in the middle of the woods to stream our population of red squirrels?”
The solution: With the help of the Lingholm gardening team, we got to work digging in cables and setting up the system. The result is a 4K webcam streaming live to the world, 24/7. (Well, it will be true 4K once the “bandwidth gods” bless us with faster fibre broadband!)
Even during the installation, we were rarely out of sight of these amazing little creatures. While naturally wary, they were also incredibly curious.
The woodland isn’t just home to squirrels, either—you’ll often catch glimpses of a wide variety of birds and even the "occasional" pheasant.
